Packaging

This was our packaging brief, we were all given a different sweet wrapper to redesign taking into consideration the target market, the current packaging etc and wether the product would benefit more from having a brand extension rather than a redesign of the original product. I had to redesign the bounty bar and I decided on a brand extension, I came up with 'bounty balls' the idea of them being coconut balls covered in chocolate. I wanted to stay away from the coconut and palm tree imagery they have always used but keep the similar colours, my design is in the form of a box and shows the name 'bounty' made up of coconut letters. I created a 'starburst' background and used a fun and quirky typeface for the rest of the text.
